Everything below is a draft. We'll confirm times and venues once the 2028 feast program is published.
Wed Sept 6, 2028 · Arrivals
Fly into Bari (BRI) and settle in to Molfetta.
Sept 6 or 7 · Welcome Dinner
Seafood dinner in Molfetta's old town or by the harbor. A chance to meet cousins from both sides of the Atlantic. Sept 7 is also the first day of the feast, with band concerts in the evening.
Fri Sept 8 · Feast Day & Sagra a Mare
Based on recent years' programs: around 15:00 the statue of the Madonna dei Martiri leaves the Basilica in procession. Around 16:00 it is loaded onto decorated fishing boats at the harbor for the sea procession. Around 20:00 it comes ashore and is carried in a gala procession to the Cathedral. Late-evening fireworks (~23:00). We'll watch together as a family and have dinner before the fireworks.
Sat Sept 9 · Pasculli Family Day
Walk through the old town, visit the Basilica and the Duomo, then a family lunch. We'll also hold a genealogy session: bring your photos, names, and stories for the family tree.
Sept 9–10 · Optional Excursions
Day trips around Puglia: Bari, Trani, Polignano a Mare, Alberobello.
Sun Sept 10 · Departures
Arrivederci, or stay longer and keep exploring!
